I had the pleasure of shooting a Soap ad for a Black-owned business called Ashley’s Natural Soap Bars. This company is based in central Florida and has been established for a few years, with several happy customers on the owner’s Etsy store.
My role in this project included writing, directing, set design, and editing. I hired a Voice Actor to read lines based on the product’s natural ingredients and the company’s brand. This project taught me a few good things about directing, product placement, and copywriting that I’m excited to improve on.
