Since 2024, I’ve had the honor of serving as a Marketing Supervisor there. Below are some of my most notable contributions to full-scale campaigns and smaller projects.

National Girls & Women In Sports Day 2025
Milwaukee Public Schools’ Department of Gender and Identity Inclusion (Girls of Color Program), Milwaukee Recreation, and the Milwaukee City Conference celebrated National Girls & Women in Sports Day with a local event for MPS girls and women on February 5, 2025. This event was held at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s Student Union. It hosted several middle and high school student athletic leaders and a powerhouse panel of guest speakers.
My part in this campaign involved designing the four high-quality retractable banners below to empower our youth. I also worked with our print vendor to align a tablecloth pattern to their template specifications.
A few of these retractable banners are in the photos below, captured at the event by our marketing team.
Ralph Davis State Unified Basketball Tournament 2025
The 4th Ralph Davis State Unified Basketball Tournament, hosted by Milwaukee Recreation and the Special Olympics, was held on April 9, 2025, at Vincent High School. Read more here.
My responsibilities included: design, photography, and videography.

I had the privilege of being the lead Marketing Supervisor on this project. My biggest challenge was working within a pre-established design system from previous events, but I succeeded in updating it and handing over all deliverables before the deadline to satisfy our client under a time crunch.
As someone with over a decade of freelance experience, I’m used to being in charge of art direction for large-scale projects. So, I like being able to decide how everything comes together to make a satisfying end product. With this tournament, I was tasked with keeping roughly everything the same, thus having much less wiggle room for creative input.
Still, I’m proud of the event’s outcome, which was an absolute joy and honor to serve.
Youth Sports Cheer Showcase 2025
Rufus King High School’s Cheerleading team won two state championships for 2024-25. They showed up to perform at the Youth Sports Cheer Showcase, and once it was over, they were presented with this 86″ x 30″ vinyl banner that I designed in Adobe Photoshop.
Lynn Greb’s Milwaukee Recreation Story
When we were informed that the legendary Lynn Greb would be retiring from her long-held position as Director of Milwaukee Recreation, our marketing team was tasked with getting the story out in a way that honored her legacy.
I was tasked with lighting, recording sound, and shooting the video for the interview seen below. Read more about Lynn’s story here.
Spring Eggstravaganza 2025
In further utilizing my video production and photography skills, I had the luck of covering this family-friendly event to capture the special memories and diligent work of others involved. Read more about Milwaukee Recreation’s Spring Eggstravaganza here.
Motion Graphic – Summer Programs 15-second Ad 2025
When our small team received a marketing campaign request to be completed within just two weeks, we covered all bases in our initial strategy meeting: TV/radio broadcasting, billboards, social media coverage, bus ads, local signage, and citywide mailers.
Though it wasn’t used due to time constraints, I’m proud of my contribution to the campaign via the motion graphic (no sound) below, which I drafted in under two hours.
